PART 1 : FOR DONATIONS MADE FROM WITHIN AUROVILLE (AUROVILIANS & GUESTS AT AUROVILLE)

  • For Indian Aurovilians who wish to make a land donation : please email Financial Services indicating the amount and the campaign you would like to support via FS 240001 (Unity Fund).
  • For non-Indian Aurovilians, please write a check made out to the Auroville Foundation and deliver it to the Auroville Unity Fund (please remember to come with your passport). 

Specifying “ACRES FOR AUROVILLE” for plots in the entire Master Plan Area

 

PART 2 : FOR DONATIONS VIA AN INDIAN BANK ACCOUNT

Under section 80G of the “Income Tax Act” tax exemptions are available for donations made within India.
Donations can be:

– 50% tax exempted (Rs 500 or more)

– 100% tax exempted (Rs 1000 or more)

Please send a note requesting your tax receipt along with your PAN number to lfau@auroville.org.in and with a copy to Auroville Unity Fund avunityfund@auroville.org.in

 

2.ONLINE DONATING VIA THE AUROVILLE DONATION PORTAL

Please visit https://donate.auroville.org and select the option:

“Land Purchase – Master Plan Priority Plots– Acres for Auroville”

Donation receipts and  tax exemption receipts can be issued for donations via this portal. Please see the supplementary information provided on the portal.  

 

3. CHECKS AND DEMAND DRAFTS
Please make your check payable to “Auroville Unity Fund” at: Auroville Unity Fund or Lands for Auroville Unified
Town Hall, 605 101 Auroville, TN, India

Please request your tax receipt specifying “ACRES FOR AUROVILLE” for plots in the entire Master Plan Area.
