SRI AUROBINDO’S FIVE DREAMS

Very significantly, India attained its independence on the 15th of August 1947, Sri Aurobindo’s 75th birth anniversary. On that historic occasion, All India Radio requested Sri Aurobindo to give a message to a free India, broadcast on the transitional night of August 14th. In this message Sri Aurobindo spoke of his “Five Dreams” – for India, humanity, and the world. To finish this landmark 150th year, we share Sri Aurobindo’s historic message.

THE VALUE OF AUROVILLE’S FARMS

Auroville’s farmers are engaged in applied research, networking and policy making: Annapurna farm, South India’s first organic dairy farm, helped to set the national standards, and Dr. Lucas Dengel, secretary of the Biodynamic Association of India, has built up EcoPro with its vast educational outreach in the use of EM (micro-organisms) for farming and sanitation. The Sustainable Livelihood Institute (SLI) is one such initiative to reach out since many years to Tamil Nadu through a multitude of channels, collaborating with the Tamil Nadu State Government

A4A FLIER – 15TH AUGUST 2022

Upon Sri Aurobindo’s passing, The Mother inscribed these words on his Samadhi : “May we never forget even for a moment, all we owe to Thee”. Then, in 1972, The Mother issued this call “Let us all strive to be worthy of Sri Aurobindo’s Centenary”. And now for the 150th anniversary of Sri Aurobindo’s birth, it is we who express our wish, our gratitude, and our aspiration to serve his high dreams, and to help build the City of Dawn. LFAU LETTER – 15TH AUGUST 2022

At the present moment, we, humanity as a whole, are most fortunate because we have access to the light of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. For most people, the future is a big mystery about which they speculate. However, in Sri Aurobindo’s message and teaching, there is no speculation. It is a revelation from deeper realities of world existence – a sunlight shining over the future where things become visible in their truth of things. The challenge now is to live and embody this revelation. Version française en pdf … பிடிஎஃப்பில் தமிழ்ப் பதிப்பு
