Donation-funded Land

Thanks to the generosity of friends and supporters, land donations have enabled the purchase of over 80 plots in Auroville’s Master Plan area (as of August 2021).

New land has been purchased in the City area near the Matrimandir and the Solar Kitchen, and has led to the creation of the new Kriya youth community. Numerous plots have been purchased in Auroville’s Greenbelt, supporting agriculture, re-forestation, protection of bio-diversity, water conservation and resources, and bio-regional training and cooperation.
