New “Auroville Land information Kiosk” set up at the Visitors Centre for Marathon Weekend on February 11th & 12th becomes permanent!
In association with Lands for Auroville Unified, Auroville’s Sophie set up a beautiful “Auroville Lands Information Kiosk” at the Visitors Centre. This action was part of the VC’s solidarity action for the land during the Marathon Weekend whereby VC restaurants and boutiques joined in the land fundraising effort.
Over 500 people came to receive information on Auroville land purchase and fundraising. The very inspiring film “Landing Auroville” – created by Rakhal & the AuroImage team – was shown non-stop to the many visitors all throughout the weekend.
As a result of its success, this attractive Land Information Kiosk will continue as a permanent feature at the Visitors Centre in order to provide Auroville’s many visitors with information on the land purchase efforts in Auroville. “Landing Auroville” will be shown every 7 minutes, its beautiful images and message spreading with every visitor and guest!
