Agni & Lola in joyful suspension!
Long-time Aurovilian Paulette has been photographing the Matrimandir disk-cleaners for decades.
She recently wrote this about Agni, Jolie, and Olga, our current disk-cleaners at the Matrimandir:
“I could also follow the three walking out, for the first time, playfully and joyfully.
What a balsam! Like entering another world!
But only a book or an exhibition can convey the daily miracle these three women enact.”
And looking back on the decades, Paulette shared this:
“Youth came from all over the planet to build Matrimandir, the soul of Auroville, radiating energy and love.
The barren plateau turned luscious green.
My thanks to Agni, Jolie and Olga, our veterans, and to all the valiant souls cleaning disks over the years,
in joy and laughter, human flowers blossoming in service to the Mother.”
They are the latest ones, at it every day, for years. But there are many more, whom I have photographed too…”
